The Bessemer Chamber of Commerce chose Davis Middle School to do a service project, an outdoor classroom.  This has been an on-going project for about 8 months.  During the project the following took place: 

flowers and trees were planted

benches were purchased

the 7th grade building was painted

a fountain was placed in the courtyard

electrical outlets were placed
